Question Starting my 97 GX...

It is hot here in vancouver (80 degrees) and I go to start my car and it does not start 'first time' [five second key turn] after sitting overnight... then I try second time and it starts right away... hmm

Any ideas?
One Mazda specialist said Vapor lock and that it is normal..

LOL...'97....

LOL again...vapour lock.

You're injectors are leaking and need to be professionally overhauled and cleaned.

No offense but someone has been yanking you around. that car is AT BEST an 88, that was the last year of that particular body style, they revised it for 89. then from 93-95 they had a completely different bodystyle. Haven't had em in the states since 95. As far as him saying its a turbo, thats how its listed in that ad.

check the build date in the door jamb of your car, i am willing to bet it was built in 87.
