88 tII question

Im looking at a 88 TII with 90 miles upgrades included a hks catback, downpipe, midpipe fuel cut defender with a greddy profec boost controller. I dont rember what fuel management it runs but he is asking 2500 for it the only problem he says it has is a carbed rear rotor , what exactly is meant by this is it just a large carbon depsoit preventing the rotor from turning or is it more serious

Thank You
Sleepy j

sounds like a really good deal, except for the rotor thing. I would just give it a good 5 redlines to clean out the carbon

Probably a thing called carbon lock. A large deposit of carbon comes loose from the rotor and wedges itself b/t the apex seal and the rotor housing. Locks the engine up. I have no experience with this problem. Just know what it is. Can't do the rotor housing any good in my humble opinion.
