TX starting issues...where do i look next?

i need some help and advice here. i have a 86 na gxl with a safcii, wideband. the car wont start 97% of the time. i put on some ported manifolds about a month ago, did the egr delete and installed the pineapple racing 5th & 6th port inserts. the car would flood. deflood procedure is hit or miss.

after two weeks i was able to start the car and take it my friends. we put the original s4 manifolds and egr back on. double checked all vac lines, replaced hoses that needed to be. still wont turn on. did compression tests. switched and tested injectors. two sets of plugs. plug wires. changed coils. tested all the sensors. reset the safcii.

my friend and i took another stab at it yesterday. we got the car to turn on and ran fine, afr numbers looked good, car sounds great, drives amazing. turned it off and wouldnt start. ive read threads on here with issues similar to mine and checked things that were suggested. but no luck. any input, advice or suggestions would help. i know im forgetting some stuff. ill have my friend chime in as well. thanks!!!

Make sure your coil brackets are fastened and tight the bracket grounds the the coils themselves. Check main ground may need replaced.

Well...my car is at my friends and he's been working on it, since I work all day. From what he told me last night. the racing beat gasket for the lower to the engine wasn't sealing. He said he made a gasket, got it to start(didn't say if it starts all the time). He said there is a huge vac leak somewhere now cause the afr is reading 19+ at idle. He was going to run a test today to find it. If I can get out of work early I'll try to go over or at least talk to him.

Update: got the running great the past three weeks with no issue. The cas was a huge problem. Replaced vac lines, tested injectors, compression tested 90psi for both rotors, tested all sensors.

The past two days its been flooding if the car sits for 20 mins or a couple of hours after its shut off. So far on cold starts no problems.

Any advice or suggestions on where to look next to help solve this issue would be great. Thanks.

Could be leaky injectors. Could be the FPR. Could be Water Thermosensor.
