CA Starting issue

OK, it cranks but wont fully turn over.

If i get some one to push it then it will start up. Needs a new water pump and the radiator is empty. Oil doesnt look to bad. Waiting for my new spark plugs to get here so i can test the spark.

Opinions?

1991 coupe, just bought as my experiment.

Check engine compression before spending money on unneeded parts or wasting time attempting to track down a phantom problem. If compression is acceptible, you can then go through a troubleshooting routine. The factory service manual has step-by-step troubleshooting procedures. Download a copy at:

Will do today or tomorrow... Wouldn't it be noticeable during driving if the rotors had no compression? Such as a stumble at 3-4 rpms, etc

Sorry for the double post. Lets say the rotors are gone. I cant find a NA 13b, so i guess i would have to convert over to turbo. How much of a hassle would that be?

Is there anything else i would need to buy? How much do you think labor would cost? I know the engine alone is about 600-700 but this comes with alot of other stuff as well...

sorry for the 3rd post, but since no one is replying im going to give updates and hopefully somebody will recognize the problem ( can we edit post? )

I ran compression test today and everything turned out good. I looked at the sparks on my spark plug wires and they were orange. I'm going to replace them tomorrow and see if there is any change.
