Starting
I have a weird starting feater even on a 90 degree day i have to hold it at about 3k rpms for about a minute to warm up. it makes no sense to me why it does that but after that minute it stays at 2,000 rpms until it reaches normal operating temp then it hits normal idle at 750. so it anyone can help me with the wierd things that is going on that would be great.

It's not the AWS, but the thermowax.
The system is operating as it should. There's no reason to hold the throttle at 3K until the idle drops. Just start the car, do up your seat belt, and drive.

Well, it's both the AWS (accelerated warm-up system) and the thermowax working at start-up. The AWS sends the RPM's to 3000 for a few seconds to warm up the pre-cats and help starting, and then the thermowax holds the RPM's from about 1200-1500RPM's and lets them down as the engine warms up. When the cam releases, the throttle closes and it goes down to idle. Bypassing the AWS is as mentioned above - I prefer to start in gear.

its not exactly that it is more... that if i don't warm it up it kills and stalls out at start up! that is y i have to warm it up other wise if i just tried turning the key and let it come back down it dies. but that is only when it was sitting over night or a long time! once it has reached normal operating tempatures and let it sit and i go to start it, it doesn't kill it idles.

I did a complete tune up at the begining of the summer everything sparkplugs, sparkplug wires, air filter, belts, o2 senor, oil change with filter, using royal purple oil so i don't see why it would be a tune up problem! All the Fluids where change about a year and a half ago differential, transmission, raditor all of it has been changed recently too. i am not sure if any that info helps! i don't think its the thermo stat but maybe it is i donno thats why i want to figure it out first before i do any work on it.
