Starter Replacement

I have replaced a start on my old n/a i used to have, but is there anything special or different about replacing a starter on a turbo2?

What he said, but make sure you disconnect your battery. I see so many people who never disconnect their battery when doing electrical work, and working under the car with just a floor jack and no jack stands.

Just the thought of that frightens me. What the hell would you do if your car fell on you? Hope you mom, wife or girlfriend will run in and help you? Nope. They'ed be like what does the jack look like and how do I use it.

Exactly. That's why I always add an extra set of "emergency" jackstands in case my first set goes bad.

yeah safety is deffinally first.

ok lets say i get the new starter in, and (god forbid) the car still doesnt crank.

what will i have to do???

If the starter is good then it should crank as long as everything is hooked up properly.
