i have a 88 NA. when i go to start the car it will try to run but it wont it will kindof run but not get up to 800 rpm it has not flooded i know that. i replaced the fuel filter its in the right direction. if i bump start it it will run just fine and have no problems. i think that the fuel pump is out in it. it was ran out of gas so.... there gose $150 any input would be helpful thanks

When cranking does the car almost catch and rev to like 200rpm then fall back off? It sounds like its flooded.... And if the car ran out of gas put more in the tank. If the fuel pump burned out for whatever reason I have a good turbo tii pump I can sell you for cheap.

i know it it isnt flooded if i take the spark plugs out they are dry as a bone
how much for the pump?

 

i did put gas in the tank a few gallons other wise it would run a good as it dose sorry for the second post
