Greddy New style front mount kit

I know a few people have had a problem with this kit, making it fit specially at the throttle and power steering pump area.

I've seen the picture of someone's blue vert that modified it to make it work.

Just curiuos if anyone had any problems or modification to make it work.

The only way I can make it fit ok is if I get a 45 degree elbow hose at the throttle adapter and pipe area and make the pipe bend up a little. I still cann't get the pipe to clear the power steering pump so It looks like i'm going to have to remove it. If i dont' do the 45 degree bend it will hit the master cylinder.

Anyone with this problem.

you need to take the elbow to a welder and have him section it with some compound turns. Basically so the elbow "S's" around the master and still hugs the shock tower.

I know what you mean, kind of what someone with the vert did.

Hmm. I'll take some pictures tommorow and show my idea using a 45 degree elbow.

I got mine from horsepower freaks, I got the 24 row one, around 974 plus shipping i think.

The bend actually clears the hood but I can 't use the power steering pump.

I wonder how it would work using the bend goign downward? I'm going to try that tommorow

Anybody have the instructions to install the FMIC kit from greddy that can email it or fax it to me. The person I got it from can't get greddy to fax it to him.

The installation looks easy but I have a bag of crap like bolts, nutz and pieces of metal that I have no ideal where they would go. The instructions would help. I'm willing to compensate you for any trouble.

Got mine from horsepower freak. I think it took 2 weeks.

Becareful which one you get, the v pec is for the stock turbo and the r spec for the greddy turbo upgrade.

I by mistake got the r-spec and had to do some more modification to make the turbo side work.

I simply cut the piece that went between the p/s pump and the brake master..switch it around connected it with a silicone hose and sought of slightly flattened it to make it fit...it still rubs a little but i think a torqu brace may limit the movement.....this is on the r spec model....

The vpec will hook normaly to the stock location of the turbo, even if you are running a hybrid.

Thats' what cymfc3s kit has but he has the 32 row IC.

I got the 24 ic and fit ok. i had to trim the bumper at the bottom a little bit but no bulging.

Finally, PS back.

Finally, got power steering back.

I had to upgrade to the smaller power steering pump offered on 88s and up. I had the big *** pump from the 86-87s which wouldn't let me pass the IC pipe next to it. Here is a pic.

There is about 3/4 inch clearance agaist the shock tower and using the 45 degree angle joint hose at the throttle. Had to bend the power steering lines a little to make it fit.

the bracket goes the power steering bracket, but that pipe doesnt quite work on a us-spec car.
