I also have the SS Autochrome 3' turbo back exhaust on my 88t2 and I LOVE IT!! i love the sound, i love the performance, i love the looks. if you have a t2 and want a great looking single exhaust thats loud GET THIS EXHAUST. i wish i could post HP #'s but i put my exhaust on when i built the car so i dont know what a stock t2 feels like.

I bought the corksport turbo back sys before I knew about this stuff. the only difference I can see is the badging on the muffler and downpipe are missing, and the corksport doesn't reduce in size for the cat. straight out 80mm all the way.
as for performance against stock??? with the silencer in it was worse according to my assometer. 1/8mile times didnt change either and loud as hell.
If you remove the silencer you'll really notice a gain. initial testing gained .7 in the
1/8th but had to stop due to blown diff mount. also corksport doesn't have any kind of presilencer so I installed a borla x1r in place. sounds great now (deep tone and not raspy).

does anyone have contact info for SSAutoChrome, i'd liek to get a catback . . . preferably a dual setup . . or should i just buy the mufflers from cork sport and have someone make the whole catback from scratch (i know someone that has the skills and tools needed, dont know if its going to be cheaper though)

Mine didn't fit perfect either.. it all depends on your definition of "fits fine". It doesn't fit like an OEM exhaust, or say like a factory TRD/Nismo/Mugen exhaust would on another car. The downpipe angle is a little funny and the exhaust gets pretty close to the bottom of the car and the rear subframe. Mine doesn't rub on anything, it just takes a little extra effort to get on.. no biggie, but not "perfect" fittiment.
