Sputtering

I was driving my car the other day and all of a sudden it started sputtering and wouldn't go anywhere unless I was easy on the gas.I couldn't drive it like past 4,000rpms or faster than 65mph.What's the problem here?Dirty fuel injectors?

it's probably not the tps, because then it would rev up, then stop, rev up, then stop. not a sputter. Maybe it's a ground.

when i had my FC, I had this same problem, twice actually.

first time = when i got the car, secondary injectors were siezed shut (probably not your issue)

second time = tps wire was loose, the idle would "bounce" when in neutral and flooring it (wouldn't go over 3800), jammed the wires into the tps real good and tight, since then and until i hit the curb and broke my steering/suspension/etc it ran like a champ.

Likely it's the TPS. The sensor has either come unplugged, or has a dead spot.
