Spun out and crashed!

Dudes, the unluckiest thing that could ever happen to a man has happened to me - I crashed my RX7.

I was doing some "spirited driving" with my friends in Mulholland Dr. near Malibu...got into a corner that's really fast at first and then gets curvier and curvier...spun out mid-corner and hit a lamp post.

Sigh....luckily I was not injured...the rex is not too badly damaged, just that the passenger side door was totalled (fortunately nothing else broke except for some plastic pieces which BLEW UP upon impact).

I think I will go check for structural damage next week. *Sob*

I know a grown man shouldn't cry, but crashing my rex? *SOB EVEN HARDER*

Hopefully just a visit to junkyard and some repainting is all she needs. Poor guy and poor rex

Go look for pick-n-pull in LA.. At least the ones up here in Norcal have 5-6 decent FCs all the time.

I very nearly wiped out my first FC the day after I bought it, six years ago. I was showing taillights to a Daytona (not a REAL one, an early FWD turbo) going up an extended onramp to the freeway. I got into the turn a little too fast, started to skid (185/70-14's don't have the greatest contact patch), and got scared. I lifted, knowing full well I shouldn't have (panic!!), spun 180, and came within about 3 inches of bonding my left rear corner with the concrete wall. The guy in the Daytona laughed as he drove past. Lesson learned...
