Sprung!

I have found that I have SPRUNG.........

A lcoolant leak that is.... I found the leak underneath the manifold. That damn hose that runs from something into the block. It's spraying from where it clamps to the manifold(?)

So, my question is, in order to get to that hose do I have to pull the UIM off? It looks as if I have to.

According to your profile you have a TII, so I'm assuming it's that horrible 90 degree coolant hose that goes from the throttle body to the block? If so I'd suggest removing the hose and blocking the passages. There are some pros and cons to doing this. Some people have had difficulty starting their cars in the cold. I did it and the car started/ran fine in -20C (ungodly cold, probably colder then it get's in CA) weather. Do some research on the "thottle body modification" if you want more details on what I'm refering to. If you decide to do it that way or if you're certain that the hose itself is cracked then cut the hose in half while removing the UIM to make your life easier.

Yes. Common sense would be a great thing! I'll try to use it the best I possibly can!
