should i get a sprung or unsprung clutch disc

i was looking on mazdatrix websire and they have a sprung six puck clutch disc for $155 and an unsprung six puck for $105. which one should i get. i want my car to eventually have 300 to 350 wheel horesepower and i want to do alot of autocrossing and some drag racing too. is this a good clutch. it didnt say a brand. let me know what you think

unsprung clutches usually tend to tear up stuff it really depends on what pressure plate you use... a stock pressure plate wont be that bad but if you get an upgraded PP then you could start to put some tear on the tranny.... Oh yeah and they wear out faster thats why its cheaper.... I pussied out and got an ACT 6 puck and heavy duty PP note i didnt get the extreme PP As for if the brand is good or not i have no idea ive never bought anything from Mazdatrix

unsprung discs are also very very stiffer when u press the pedal to shift compared to sprung discs which are similar to stock

The pedal pressure will be dictated by the pressure plate and not the disc. If you're doing any street driving go for the sprung hub. The only real advantage of the solid hub is their light weight and feel. And by feel I mean on/off engagement. I've learned to drive mine fairly well around the paddock but all my friends stall it the first 5 or 6 times they try to move it.
