Springs + Poll!!!

I know it has been covered multiple times, but from what i found from searches, everyone was just... disagreeing and giving out numbers, what I would like to know is the exact spring rate of 3 set of springs

rs*r race spec
tanabe gf210
racing beat

Racing beat website gives me 2 different set of numbers (complete set gives 156/128 individual gives 145/132 and mazdatrix gives some other odd ball number like 140/80???)

Tanabe gf210 i got 3.0/2.5?? no clue what that is and some one also mentioned 168/140 and some other site listed different numbers i dont remember

the rs*r i got anywhere from 336/2xx something to 201/123??? can someone give me a good accurate set of numbers? i dont want to know which is better for what ever reason, i just want to figure out spring rates so i can find see what is better for me car!!

and correct me if im wrong
tanabe and rb is 1 in drop not extremely noticble but its there
and rs*r is like 1.2 and 2.0?

Please I want accurate numbers and rs*r's site is like dead!!???

I thank you all for the help in advance.

if you guys like please do the poll too to see which is the more commonly used spring!

I'd definately go with tanabe. installed several sets on FCs and they handle pretty damn nice. Somewhat aggressive drop and stiff but not too stiff for daily driving.

I have RS*R's and I would recommend them to anyone who wants an agressive drop with a high spring rate. Here are the specs:

Drop:
F: 1.2"
R: 2.0"

Spring Rates
F: 335 lb/in
R: 224 lb/in

RX7STORE$205
RSR Down springs were engineered with a 30 to 50 % spring rate increase and efficient lowering stance. Spring Specifications: 88-91 RX-7 Turbo: Front 1.4 inch Drop / Rear .8 Inch Drop. Spring Rate: Front 349 Rear 261
RACINGWORKS
RSR $174.85 Part Number: RSR-30M100
Lowering (F/R): 1.4" / 0.8"
Spring Rate (F/R lbs.): 201 / 123

SUMMIT RACINGIntrax $179 Avg Lower for Sport F(1.6"), R(1.6")
First, the lowered look. Most other brands' springs are linear rate, as this is cost-effective but doesn't necessarily provide the visual effect you desire. By designing a progressive spring, Intrax achieves the lowered look while maintaining safety standards of spring preload at suspension droop. The second requirement is ride quality. Since most of you drive 90% of your mileage to and from work, you wanted to retain some ride quality enjoyed with OE springs. INTRAX progressive springs provide high performance looks and comfortable ride quality.

RacingBeat$240
These springs have been designed with a rate increase of approximately 20% (front - 156 lb/in) and 20% (rear – 128 lb/in) with a modest drop of 1-inch (front and rear).

Heard some negative feedback on those Intrax Springs.
- They're soft
- They sag
- Fcks your camber (of course, it's 1.75" drop)
- Progressive ( I don't see anything wrong with progressive.. anyone?)
- Nobody really knows the exact Spring Rate, anyone? stock 90lbs? intrax 120lbs?
- Etc.

Ground Control, you get to pick your own spring rates and you can set the ride height to whatever you want it to be (within limits).

soo... im guessing its somewhere along the lines of...
rs*r most aggressive, and not great for daily driving?
racing beat is great with daily driving?
and tanabe is in between?
what does tanabe specs convert over to in in/lb?

anyone have experience with all three? and how each handle and feel as opposed to others?
i just dont want to get the wrong springs, or something that i really didnt want, and if it helps i rather some excellent handling, not extremely concern over ride quality although it might help if on days that i worked long hours... less body roll = better... i hate that feeling that im gonna tip over if i make a hard turn...

not interested in coilovers, too much of a pita for a daily driver...

edit - yay for me rs-r came back up and got accurate spring rates...

RX-7 88-91Turbo 1.2 / 2.0 335 / 224 $229.00 35-M100
race spec springs

RX-7 88-91 Turbo 1.4 / 0.8 201 / 123 $199.00 30-M100
Down springs (not interested... lol)

now if i can figure out kg/mm conversion... so i can get accurate numbers on tanabe....

why does racing beat's website have 2 different numbers for their spring rates...

look at individual springs (front / rear) and look at suspension package.... different numbers!!! -=(
