i have a 88 n/a se and im thinking about the racing beat package. i have heard they are to stiff for some people so im still debating them, i think most people prefer the eibach (spelling) springs, maybe look into the suspension forum for more info or better replies

I have a set of brand new Eibachs if you are interested. Stiffen the car up some and lower it 3/4" all the way around. $175 + shipping

I was thinking about the groundcontrol because they come with eibach springs plus one of the coilsovers. i just want to know? if coilovers are stiffer then springs or does it just matter about the road and how rough that is?

I think you need to say what you will be using the car for with these springs on it. (daily drive, autocross, etc..)
That will help the experts tell you what is best for you.

I am definitely not an expert but I love the way Racing Beat springs and KYB shocks/struts ride on my daily driver a 89 GXL.

Well not speaking as an expert then, since I'm not. I really like my Suspension Technique springs on my KYB AGX's

I'd look for someone who's had a few different kinds. cause I've got eibachs/KYB AGX's and I love them. but I don't have anything else to compare them to. maybe put up a new post otherwise you'll just get a bunch of people saying how they like their setup, with no reference to another setup.

the KYBs seem to be a common denominator though.

I bought the Racing Beat springs and Tokico blue struts and shocks....I like the setup...very stiff which is awesome in the turns/bends going fast and at the track....but if you want a nice ride I heard eibach is nice.

I believe Tein's are the best coil overs around, but they come at a steep price. Ive heard good things about Tokico Illusion shocks and Eibach springs. Right now im stuck with the stock AAS shocks, but soon as i get enough they come out
