I paid 25.00 + 9.00 shiping.. should be here before the weekend...
I plan to turn the key for the first time this weekend

Got the new accelerator cable on today, the banjo bolt and coupler will be here tomorrow so I should be able to get the fuel lines on, the upper plenum on, the turbo side of the intercooler all done.
my new modded tb so I can get them on and the intercooler pipes for that side by friday..
Then add oil, coolant, and get the last few things on... I hope to turn the key by Saturday or Sunday

I just need my last couple parts to show up and I can turn the key... cant wait.. I figure I have about 2 hours worth of putting stuff on, filling fluids, double checking everything then turn the key.
My buddy with the camcorders is bailing on me.. I am afraid I may not get to record the startup...
or I maybe can but with no sound.. GRRRR

Ok so tonight was a good night.. my banjo bolt showed up so I was able to get my fuel rail on. The throttle body showed up so I was able to get that on and the upper intake on. The coupler showed up for my turbo to IC piping so I ws able to get the passenger side plumbed...
So all I have left is to:
put my throttle body elbow on when it shows up
put my turbo oil feed line on when it shows up
put my turbo coolant line to intake on when it shows up
Put my AFM on
put radiator in and add coolant
put the down pipe on when it shows up
Put on the new ngk wires
put the alternator on
put 2 new belts on
I did get the engine filled with 4 litres of Elf 10w50
on to pics

So I am about positive that I will turn the key on Saturday

lol I think if we cut out where the fog lights would go (if I had fogs) it will go right back on.. I think it is only the pipes that are stopping it from going on.
I need a camcorder or digi cam with sound so I can record the startup

well maybe people put the pipes on the outside of the bumper but I want the pipes to be inside the bumper... I'll get it on shortly after I get the car running..
I will just ned to cut and make it fit..

I haven't read this whole thread but I was wondering if you are planning on a larger turbo, because with the added size of the intercooler and piping, boost is going to come in alot later than the nice short piped top mounted intercooler with that smaller turbo. Just a thought.

yes I dont plan to run this turbo for all that long.. if I have my way I will upgrade before summer end..
it all depends because I will prolly need a stand alone as well when I go to a bigger turbo..
I will have to go witht he turbo drive train too.
money is the issue there
