Split Air Solenoid Valve?

I'm getting CEL code 30, which translates to "Split Air Solenoid Valve". Can anyone here tell me what it is? Where is it located? What does it do? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

BTW, my ride is an 89 RX7 Vert, mostly stock. Thanks.

It's the aft solenoid on the ACV. Opens when your in fifth gear and feeds air to the catalytic converter.

You should be able to turn the key to ON and have someone put the car in fifth gear and hear the solenoid. If not, then carefully remove the solenoid and its poppet and have someone go in and out of fifth gear and watch the poppet magnetically attract itself to the solenoid each time the car is in fifth and the key is to ON.
