how can i do it...i have a ruff idea...is it by installing straight piping without a cat???

damnit...

to the OP. i backfire when the car is hot and let off during shifts or when i let off with revs above 4k with a 3in straight exhaust, test pipe, and running rich as a pig.

Yah, thats pretty much how my car is. It would shoot flames every time when i shifted above 6k.

so are you guys rocking a recirculating blow off valve setup on your turbos? or venting to atmosphere? My car has recirculating setup and runs great but no fireballs, i know if i change the induction setup to vent the blow off valve, then it would probably do fireballs, but im not too sure i really want to be running rich for that off throttle second...

hahaha sum of my friends didnt believ my strait piped 88 na didnt pop fireballs.

I told em to stand right behind the car and bend their faces close to the muffler, but not right behind it , to the side, while i revved it up. waaaaaaaaaaaaawaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam pop! pop! right in front of em. nice fireball

as if shooting flames makes a car measurably 'better', lol

I'm not knocking exhaust flames, it's just that their comment sounds about as bright as saying "My Integra has more decals than your Celica!"

it is, but flames burn leg hairs and eyebrows while decals dont.

when i got my tII, i was trying to backfire left and right. that lasted 2 days max.
