Spigot Bearing?
I bought a j-spec S5 TII motor and it came from an automatic. I'm buying a lightened flywheel and i'm just going to us the rear counterweight. I read somewhere on here that you also need a rear spigot bearing. I've never heard of this, is it a real thing? Where am i to buy it? Thanks in advance for any info.

Anybody else have any input about the front counterweight? My understanding is that the front counterweight has to match the rear, which it does already. Thanks

What about this quote:
The spigot bearing is the little needle roller bearing in the end of the eccentric shaft. It centres the input shaft of your g/box. Without it the input shaft bearing will wear prematurely. Don't forget the little dust seal aswell which stops clutch dust buggering the needle roller
are any of you adressing this when you swap in j-spec motor that came with an automatic transmission setup into your manual? or all mumbo jumbo here?

The spigot bearing is the same as the pilot bearing.
The front counterweight, rotating assembly (rotors and shaft) and rear counterweight need to be the same. Rotor housings, tranny type (TII or N/A) clutch type, after market flywheel weight, non of that matters.
Stock flywheels for 5spd trannys have a counterweight on it that doesn't come off. If you replace the flywheel with another stock one, you need to use a stock flywheel for the same year as the rotors and front counterwieght. Not the year of the car. A friend of mine made that mistake but we caught it before we installed the flywheel.
