I was driving my car today and the speedometer stopped working? What do I check?

 

seedo cable it either, broke r came undone at the tranny r behind the cluster, easy fix

I will bet you anything the plug just came out from behind the gauge cluster. Its a fat black cable underneath the dash. Just follow it up with your hand to behind the gauges and plug it in. Its kinda a bitch of a job but its easy enough.
