what sizees are stock speakers?...

front and back....looking on futureshop....they said 5/14 for both...but the rears look like 6/12...any one help..i nedd to install these asap!!

What year is your seven? SOme models had 4" in the back and others had 6.5". Also, S5s will fit 6.5"s in the doors too and 4.5" under the dash. I think S4s only fit 4.5" in the door but I could be wrong. I'm sure about the S5 sizes though.

The rear's are like 7.5 inches wide. I used a rotozip tool to make my own speaker ring for a 6.75 speaker. Works like a charm, sounds great.

Some models came with 4" in the rear, some 6.5" Try taking your speaking grilles off and measuring I'll be doing that tomorrow =)

I've only speakers i've seen are the pioneer ones which are about 5 inches or so and have the steel ring around them. On my s4 GXL they had built in amplifiers and looked like a coffee tin. Either way, they suck. custom mount the new ones.

my s4 ,88 vert has 4" in the front(dash) and 5 1/4 in the doors

mine has 4" in dash 5 1/4 in door and 8" in towers
but 6 1/2 fit perfect in tower by the way its a 10AE

ohh.well..i got the s5 89....took it off..looks like the thier even bigger then the 6.1/2 looks like a 7 inch yea...there are speakers in the dash.. m pretty sure the 89 s5 dosent have it=(
