Do yourself a favor in the process... Go invest the 10-20 dollars in a QUALITY padded spark plug socket. It will do 4 things for you.
1. Save you a little bit of a headache taking them out
2. Won't damage the plug while wrenches and pliers can
3. If you ever need to change a plug (who hasn't on an FC) and you can't find any other tools you can atleast keep the socket in your glove box and do it by hand or find a socket wrench. Somebody always has one lying around.
4. By spending the extra for a QUALITY one, it will prolly be guaranteed for life (ie.craftsman hand tool.

Shoulda called me :-),
buy a sparkplug socket 13/16ths
all toolkits should come with one,.. its the long looking socket with the rubber gromet inside.
I also usually like to do it with a 3 inch extension.
if you have any more troubles just give me a call.

I don't have power steering, but I do have A/C. It was the easiest job. It took a couple minutes for each (getting out, coating with antiseize, putting in). Shouldn't be a problem.

Come on Dude. Use the right tool for the job - A sparkplug socket - shouldn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes TOPS! Just remember there are leading & trailing plugs. If you don't have the socket ask your neighbor or buddy or something or get one of them to help you. Once U remove the plug wires there is plenty of room.

OK OK jeez, spark plug socket and some ***** i got it.
i was just under the hood looking at them and curious as to how people go about doing it since it looked like i would need something like a special socket to do it.
thanks for the advice, and the flames...;-)

i have power steering and A/c, just push them lines out of the way, doesnt take more than 20 min well, ifu never done it before about 45....n thats a little too much, but yeah, dont forget that you have leading and trailing plugs to get
if u are short on tools, get the 235 piece toolset from craftsman at sears, costs like 240$ and has about every tool you need
