Do yourself a favor in the process... Go invest the 10-20 dollars in a QUALITY padded spark plug socket. It will do 4 things for you.
1. Save you a little bit of a headache taking them out
2. Won't damage the plug while wrenches and pliers can
3. If you ever need to change a plug (who hasn't on an FC) and you can't find any other tools you can atleast keep the socket in your glove box and do it by hand or find a socket wrench. Somebody always has one lying around.
4. By spending the extra for a QUALITY one, it will prolly be guaranteed for life (ie.craftsman hand tool.

it might look hard, i imagine you have powersteering and air conditioning, but nothing should be stopping you, you can push most of the lines out of the way.

If it's too much trouble from the top, get them from underneath. Actually I use a stubby rachet with the long plug socketfrom the top. A little tight, but works great.

Shoulda called me :-),

buy a sparkplug socket 13/16ths

all toolkits should come with one,.. its the long looking socket with the rubber gromet inside.

I also usually like to do it with a 3 inch extension.

if you have any more troubles just give me a call.

Its a sparkplug and easily done from the TOP even with powersteering, airconditiong, and an aftermarket flux capacitor to power the warp drive.

I don't have power steering, but I do have A/C. It was the easiest job. It took a couple minutes for each (getting out, coating with antiseize, putting in). Shouldn't be a problem.

Come on Dude. Use the right tool for the job - A sparkplug socket - shouldn't take more than 5 or 10 minutes TOPS! Just remember there are leading & trailing plugs. If you don't have the socket ask your neighbor or buddy or something or get one of them to help you. Once U remove the plug wires there is plenty of room.
