UGH, what did i just post earlier.

That's 300ohms in the SPIRAL method.

I can GUARANTEE you that a 6000 ohm ULTRA plug is MUCH better than a 300 ohm accel.

The stock 16,000 ohm ones are just as good as the 300ohm spiral kind... but do whatever you want, it's your money

Even if you don't buy them, there's a lot of good info on plug leads at www.magnecor.com that's worth reading.

Actually a mate of mine did this with his 12AT. Skylines use a coil-on-plug ignition system so he used four of those coils held together with a bracket. Seemed to work quite well except eventually two coils failed, one after the other. It may have been because rotary plugs get much hotter.

Wow everyone has thier opinion, I really can't stand up and defend any plug cord manufacturer but I can share with you my experiences with different ones.

First Most Plug wires don't change much at all. I have had lots of experience with Ultra, they sell them at every store on the corner in Japan. Ultras sell for about 170-200 bux a set. This is about a 4-500%markup from the cost of manufacturing. The super soft silicone they are made of always always rips, unless you never change your plugs they will stick to the coils and may never come off until they rip. Performance wise i would say average, I will never own another set of ultra.

Splitfire- in Japan they are about 200 bux they perform really well, but the boots will not stay on the coils I had to use Zip ties to keep them in place. I used them for about 3 years and I bought them used. I would use them again if they were cheaper.

ACCEL- I have these on my car now I have the 300+ wires that have a lifetime warranty. Bought them from Summit Brand new. Got the ones for a V8 with the 90deg boots so I have enough for 2 sets. This should last me until im dead. I am impressed with these wires, my car ran smoother. I am not too worried about construction as I put them together myself and this gave me a chance to cut them to the length I wanted instead of having 7 miles of cord in the engine bay!!
My only complaint is that the boots they sent do not fit well on the coils, but then again I did not order them for aRX-7. The boots can easiy be made to fit though, I used some other ACCEL boots that were in the shop and they work great.

This is some of my experiences and from them I have gathered that it is a waste of money to buy pre- made plug wires and ALL Japanese plug wires are overpriced and most are only of average quality. JDM does not mean better!!

I also use Summit Racing's plug wire kits for many cars they are great wires also but closer to stock as far as performance, they are cheap in price and even come with a nice wire tool. To each his own i guess .

Um, you just put them on one at a time in place of the old ones. If you got NGK's the lenght's should match right up. I use a little Diaelectrical grease on the contact points only, when I put plug wires on.

I got the yellow Accels currently, I regret spending money on them. I inspected them today and on the Trailing coil wire, at the coil, I can see that only after 3 months of useage, its already black and seems to have burned the plastic on both my trailing coil side. I will try to take some pics to see if anyone can help me diagnose whats going on, I never had this problem witht the NGK, maybe I will invest some money on them again. The accels look cool, but IMO they are crap on rotaries.

OMFG...you have got to be joking.

******* pull them off one at a time and replace them. You may want to wear gloves so that the paint on your nails doesn't wear off.

10RWHP? WTF? No way on earth spark plug wires give you that much horsepower. The ONLY way that could happen is if 2 of them weren't plugged in.
