spark plug/wire recommendations

Tomorrow morning I'm getting new plugs/wires and I was wondering what brand/style plug and wire you guys recommend.
I know that right now I have a miss and I don't know why, but I'm going to start with new plugs and wires.

Plugs, there is only one that should be used in are cars. NGK's that are specific for rotarys. When you see them you will know why.

Wires... Stock ones work great. Many other aftermarket plugs can be found online at rx7 specific sites.

Can anyone please tell me which NGK plugs to buy?
Is there a number or name to which type of plug to get?
I am going to picking up some very soon as well.
I have a 1990 NA. I think i read somewhere we need 2 different types of plugs and 4 totel?

Thanks

check the manual i dont have the specific number but a quick search will turn it up. MAKE SURE the plugs with the L go into the holes on the block with the L next to them, same for the hole/plugs with the T. dont worry abouch which ones trailing leading hot or cold just match the letters it the idiot proof way. and double check to make sure the wires are on the correct order. nothing can screw your engine up faster than wrong firring order
change those plugs often too, like ever 10k atleast

Ok Thanks..
So if i accidently put the wrong plugs in the wrong whole or mix of the cords and fires wrong. Will this seriously toast my engine right then and there?

wrong plug in the wrong hole wont blow the engine, just make it run crappy. but mixing up the wires could quite possibly fry the engine. if they dont sell plugs in your area (80% of the US) get them at mazdaperformance.com, they have a add on this page and sell the plugs cheaper than any one else.

NGK- Bur9EQ & Bur7EQ, may as well buy NGK wires too. They're cheap and last long enough

razorback, NGK's box show the corresponding plug's position, i.e. leading or trailing. "DO NOT" depend on Haynes for accurate plug info.. the illustration is reversed in my Haynes Manual.

Edit: have you reviewed and followed unflooding according to rotary performance: >http://rx7.com/tech/unflood-fc.html
