Sound from tank after driving/rich

OK so heres whats going down. I Drive the car for about 20 30 mins an when Pull in the drive way let it turbo time. The car car shuts off an i hear a weird sound from the tank like a humming stops starts agian so on. But if i open the cap it has crazy pressure an it goes away. Also when i drive the car for a while once everything gets hot. The car starts to run super rich. Like 10.2 at idle i have my standalone set to idle at about 13.5-14.0 I would go lower but my car doesnt like rich idle.

So at first i thought maybe i had a bad injectors or a leaking one. But i just put in s5 primaries about a 1.5 year ago. I was thinking that maybe theres a vent or a check valve might be dirty or clogged. Is there a vent or check valve i seen something like that in my manual about a year or so ago. But as for filter brand new less than 2k on it walbro pump(p.s no one cares if you dont like them im not throwing it out an gettin a bosch cause you like them) never had a problem with it adjustable fuel regulator. Ill check out the tank tomorrow see if something is clogged. But would like your input

Fuel in the tank is getting too hot and the noise is the relief valve venting and opening the cap relieves this pressure. The stock S4's were noted for this problem and was eliminated in the S5.

It's been many years ago, but Mazda bought back our '88 TII because of this problem as well as the trailing plugs not firing. This is how we came about our '89 TII as Mazda sold it to use wholesale 5/89. When the temps were around 90 degrees, we would pull the car in the garage and listen to the pressure release, so the car was therefore parked outside.
Guess you could try and shield the fuel tank from the exhaust heat better and also take a check on the exhaust temp.

Check the gas cap.
Also there is a vent "piece" right above the tank.If you open the Access areas on the floor you should be able to get at it.
check the vent valve to make sure it is working.
Also,I am just wondering IF you modified the fuel system and removed the Charcoal canister and it's hoses...and IF so,what did you do with them?

Yeah umm them are long gone. I have no emissions an im on a stand alone now. But as for what i did was took the whole can out plugged the one smaller hose with a vac cap an the big hose is gone an capped off. I still have all the stuff but im not going to put it back on as i dont have to worrie about emissions. Ill have to check the vent ill pull my carpet tomorrow an be back with a verdict. I dont have a stock pump got a walbro an a aftermarket fuel regulator but everything is stock as for that didnt change nothing in the lines didnt put a different type of fuel fiter in. i do have s4 secondary injectors an s5 primaries. But i have the s4 ran threw the stock resistor trust me on this on i already went through an made sure that i have it wired right hahaha as the standalone i have runs high imp injectors
