Something isn't right here....

Had just the front of my car up for about 2 weeks, fixing an exhaust leak. Well get the car down and go to start it and it won't fire up.

It turns over, just doesn't wanna get going.

Any advice?

If your car is BADLY flooded the push start wont work. 4 trips up and down the street to figure this out.

He has a series five. On a series five to deflood, you put the pedal to the floor, which in turn disables the fuel injectors when the ECU sees the START signal. Spark still happens, just no more fuel til it gets over 500rpm.

actually all fuel injected rotaries do that, just with the S5 and up, it also cuts fuel if it "see's" the TPS at WOT but the engine not running.

On the S3 and S4 models, WOT opens the MOP and air flow butterflys to full, so even if it is still injecting fuel, the air and oil purges the system and lubes the seals (increasing the compression seal).
