Someone with a DMM, check something for me real quick
If you have a digital multimeter, please do me a favor. Go to the fuse box under the hood. Make sure the engine is off, doors are closed, and that none of the interior or exterior lights are on. Pull the BTN fuse. Set the meter to check VDC. Put the negative (black) probe on the negative battery terminal. Now, if you are standing at the driver side fender looking into the slot where the fuse was, you will see two post like this: | | The post you are checking is the one to the right, the unfused side of the ciruit. Put the positive (red) probe on this post and please tell me what you get for a reading. I get .565 volts DC and it slowly counts down until it goes to 0.000 mV. If I put the BTN fuse back in and remove it immediately, the same thing happens again on the unfused side; .565 VDC, then slowly counts down like the power source is being drained. On all the rest of the unfused circuits, I get 0.000 mV right away. Any ideas? I stumbled across this phenomenon while I was chasing wires trying to figure out why my battery discharges if I leave the car sit over night.
Thanks in advance

Hmm. Good point. I had also found that I connected the power wires for the Haltech a/f monitor incorrectly, so maybe thats it. Guess I'll check it again in the morning and see if it drains again.
