is it the greddy type s? if so put your hand over the big opening when the engine is on. and if you feel it sucking you have a huge vacuum leak and need to tighten the screw on top.

ok... engrish much? You have a Greddy Type-S blow off valve. If your BOV isn't working make sure that it is hooked up... aka the vaccum nipple is connected to a good source of vaccum (not on the same line as say your FPR or boost gauge becasue these item take alot of vaccum to work)

and it's not going to 'blow off' in your driveway while stepping on the gas. you have to get some load on the engine and get your turbo to spool if you want to hear it.

i'm saying you have to drive it and step on the gas... get your turbo to spool... and you should hear your bov between shifts.

and i was referring to the screw on top of the bov if that's what you're asking.

you might want to try adjusting your tps. or if you just want a quick fix to raise the idle you can tighten the nut on the throttle cable behind the uim.
