some t2 problems

some t2 problems

basically my car is an 1988 t2 with s5 jdm motor swap... uhh ya for some reason doesnt liekt o idle cold... it idles then dies of i get off gas.. and yes i know its not a vacuum leak. i have my BAC unplugged beacuse i know its bad, if that the problem? another problem is when i go to start i turn key the push my push button and it turns but takes many turns to start.... usually it pops ons or twice during process, they are not very loud pops at all just im not sure what they are from.... (yes my car does run a lil rich, how do i fix that also.) i have no emissions either... so please any help greatly appreciated

i had a problem with no start, all emissions removed. My EGR plate was not seated tightly to the manifold. I would say try there. was my major vac leak. After i fixed that. No problems at all

ok ya ill try there.... where is the specifically located on manifold... is it on the upper manifold or lower?

its on the passenger side. Below the Intake Manifold. Should be 2 plates there since all your emissions is removed.

Also I do believe that the BAC helps your car to idle under load. If its bad it could certainly screw up your idle. I'd replace it.

another problem

uhhh this problem starts at 1500 rpm and ends at 2500 rpm... it sounds like a metal grinding noise... i will try to get a video of it and it only does it when i rev in that range in neutral or on decel.... any suggestions?

also one of the main problems is when cold it takes a while for it to start many of cranks.... my friends dad is mechanic and he says its my coolant temp sensor, is he correct? o and another y is it hesitating.... like when im driving and i kinda roll on it it hesitates just for a second... its usually like around 3k rpms im guessing injectors? any suggestions for any of these?

like the other guy that had the idle problem... check you cold starter... it plays a big role... it has happened too my friend swap and i fixed it... try too check... check for bad wiers and try too change the module

ne help i think it might be my injectors... probably my primaries...? How much would it cost to clean, test, and flow my injectors with new o-rings?

It costs about $30 / injector to get them cleaned and balanced and new grommets installed.

Do you still have your thermowax? If not, then you MUST hold your foot on the gas until it warms up.

was just about to say injectors. im not all that skilled on the RX7 since i just got mine. but im definently thinking injectors. and maybe your ecu is out of tune in that load area.

where can i send in my injectors for that price.... everyone i have heard has said like 100 for the primaries and 100 for secondaries... uhhh what injectors are from 2500rpm and up? which injectors come in first? the primaries correct.? i would presume.
