some 'not finished' custom interior pics

Hi, just wanted to show you guys the minor progress I've made this spring. Joe from ADO in Pembroke, MA did most of this work on his own and I'm getting excited as to when it's going to be 'done.'
--

custom enclosure for the dual 10s. removable for track days, but nice and tight in there for regular driving. much better then the old setup which had my generic box flipping around the trunk on every corner. the cover hides it well when the hatch is closed.

both storage bins converted for other uses. joe moved the battery back and a kill switch is on the way.. i did the amp a while ago. lock the bins up and no one is the wiser.

logicon moved to the glove box. i had mentioned it offhandedly to joe but i figured it would be much less work to just replace the speaker vents with gauges. he went crazy and moved it anyway. the lower part of the stereo surround isnt finished yet, but will house the timer and remote gain control for the amp. waiting to order up gauges to fill those holes.

--
i'm almost to the point where i can feel that the interior is as done as i want it to be. putting the mazdaspeed rims and lip on the car this week hopefully (after looking at them through this whole sh*tty snowy winter we had) and then i've gotta figure out what im doing for a turbo/ems upgrade. summer came in the nick of time because after watching the car sit all winter for the most part i was ready to sell it, but now im glad i didnt.

you should have that battery in a box. not only do they emit gasses but exploding batteries are no fun.

Looks pretty good so far. Me and Will are in the proccess of moving stuff around and mounting gauges too.

How did you mount the battery? Did you bolt a tray to the body and remove the cloth from the bin? I need to make a tie down for mine, I'm just being lazy about it.

nah, thats not a seperate battery for the subs.

the cover is the stock s5 t2 hatch cover.. i think it might have come with s5 gtus as well btu im not sure, never seen another fc with em.

as for the box issue, it never came up. i'll take closer pics tomorrow when its light out of the battery setup in there. it's pretty damn tight.
