Talking and so it starts....

After saving, and searching it begins. The project to centrifugal supercharger my car. Wish me Luck. Heres what I have so far. (I know i still need other items)

First things first. The supercharger that will be used is a Vortech, with a max boost of 20pis it is more then enough..the pully will put it some where around 12psi

Injectors will be 720cc on all 4. After all its better to have to scale back the fuel, then to find out i need bigger injectors. They should be adiquit. A large performance fuel pump of course. Apexi S-AFC to help tune it all.

I'll keep everyone posted on how it goes, anyone would like.

If you are using the N/A rotors,,,,, I wouldn't put 12 PSI of boost to it....., try 6 first,,, they are higher compression....

Get a wideband O2, dude, and good luck!!!

You need any help with the SAFC, PM me..

While you can run the stock ECU, pushing past 8PSI on stock timing is really getting into a danger zone. I did this on my car, but I was also firehosing fuel into the engine. Much power was lost running that much fuel to prevent detonation. I would recommend an aftermarket ECU or some other way to retard timing. Especially if non-intercooled as intake temps will be quite high.

Ah, yes I was thinking of running an after-market ECU. As of now I am undecided as to what one.

I planing on acquiring an inter-cooler sometime soon

Has anyone heard anything about the knock sensor and ignition retard system that rx7.com sells?

Is that the Jacob's "rotary master"? If so, then stay away. I have not heard anything good about that system.

For ECUs, I like the Microtech. Software sucks, but the ECU is cheap and easy to wire. Has all the functions 99% of people need, without all the extra "fluff" that only 1% need...

It blows engines.

Specifically, the knock sensor is too slow to respond in a rotary application. By the time ignition is pulled out, the damage has been done...
