So I lost all my oil 2night ??
when leaving my g/f's house i noitced a spot of oil under my car..i went to get gas and i opened my hood and the hole left front was covered in oil there was a huge spot on the floor. I'm thinking a oil cooler line burst. My oil press stayed within spec but what do you guys thing ???? please help me
1) how long was the drive to the gas station
2) how much oil is left in your engine? that means check the dipstick
3) check the oil cooler lines. replace if necessary
4) stock oil pressure gauge? doesnt really matter but they're known to not be reliable
5) after you fix the lines drive the car if no smoke then basically dont worry about it

no my stock one works cuz i did a test at school with a cal. gauge. I had enough oil to drive home which was about 10 mins, the buzzer came on when i was 3 blocks away ONLY when i would make hard turns!!! I'm gonna check it in the morring. I put plastic down where i parked so i know its all gonna be gone. so well see 2morrow morring
happened to me, luckily i was pulling the car into the shop as the line burst and i didn't even realize i left 5 quarts of oil on the road all around the block, you can lose oil VERY quickly when those lines burst and they are a weak point in the oiling system which is why i upgraded to some 3000psi+ tested line.
fix or replace the lines and fill it up, only then will you know if it caused damage or not.
