You don't have cup holders? I have 2 sweet ones in my glove box, great for holding drinks! haha if I'm not moving that is.

There are these cheap-o cup holders that you can buy that have a tab that is supposed to be slipped in the window slot on your door. However, they also conveniently slip behind your glove box door, you close the glove box and BAM! You've got reliable cup holders.

The most convenient cupholder I've found is right between my legs. A cold soda makes for a good air conditioning replacement in the summer too!

And the best part is that they have little prongs that extend into the cupholder to fit drinks smaller than the average can of soda. Fits red bulls just fine, but a problem arises if your a 32 oz. fountain drink kinda guy, the weight of stuff like that could cause trouble.

the ones in the pic look real sharp, but what if a drink spills from up there? You'd soak your electronics and whatnot.

Reliable until the ancient latch mechanism snaps off due to the 88 ounces of caffeine you're hauling.

if you've got an old rotor from a blown engine, that'll work pretty well sitting on the passenger floor! some people put a roll of tape in the center console (no power belts) and use that too. at the local japanese market they have a cup holder that mounts to the a/c vents that i might get for my FD, not sure that i'd trust the FC vents to hold up to that tho. i'll post pics if i get it!

Autozone has this dual cup holder, then a little center section that you put between your seat and the center console. Either drivers or passenger side. And it just slips right in. No drilling or anything. Thats what I used the past 2 cars I've had.

Ford Escorts have this neat little pop out cup holder/coin storage unit that fit right below the radio (they are single din sized). I have one in my FC and it doesn't interfere with shifting at all. Takes a little effort to get it to mount but worth it in my opinion

Lol... $20?? I paid $2.50 for mine. And believe me, if your local junkyard is like mine, they're a dime a dozen.

Honda parts + RX7 = blasphemy.

If you have the original radio bracket, mounting would probably be simple. I had to Frankenstein mine. It works though.

Yeah those clusters are sexy. available in KM only. and you have to be able to read/speak japanese fluently if you want a set. but about the cup holders... i know about the shitty walmart cupholders and the single din option. but i like the pocket under my radio and my dash vents are broken anyway. i like those because they look like they could be stock and are in the perfect place. im gonna try to figure this out ill keep you guys updated.

Ok, so i need to get width measurements for this but for 4.99 on ebay i found this. if its the right width it would be perfect. require a little custom work but im willing to do that. (i am an rx7 owner after all)

But in all seriousness what does everyone think of the audi cup holder idea. (and off topic here im thinking about trying to get a set of gauges custom made like that.... importintelligence said they could do it for 289 but they would need a cluster.)
