Your motor is near its end....Average lifespan says that it will pop soon... but your smoking is coming from your oil seals....if it takes 6k for the car to smoke then that is not bad...ive seen cars where 4k is all it takes to pull a smoke screen.
ah so i need to talk to eric about my 1g rebuild then huh?. thats what i get for getting a $ 800 TII that the idot before me an moble 1 in...oh well. BTW is it ok to drive if you broke a tranny to motor mount. you know the flange that the bolt goes through to hold the tranny to the engine?

Seals.
If you wait until a seal shatters you generally have to replace the rotor housing and rotor that lost the seal, also, if you spit an apex seal through your turbo it's bad news. I've also seen some irons ruined through apex seal shatter. These things dont ALWAYS happen however, as you can split an apex seal on its edge but it's not common in the least.
