Smoke Under Hood?
I pulled off of the freeway to my house and lifted the hood. Very noticable ammount of smoke from under the hood. I have been monitoring this and it seems to be coming from under of the forward actuator (on pass side). Is this where the oil sending unit is? it did smell more like oil than fuel, but a small chance that it may be glycol.
Any suggestions???
Thanks!

Oil meter lines are on the exhaust -- sorta. But unlikely a source of a leak onto your exhaust manifold like what would happen from leaky valve covers of a V6 or V8. But, it wouldn't be a bad idea to pull your intake and check to make sure one of the lines hasn't broken anyway.
My guess, you have a general oil leak (leaky oil pan?) that is essentially splashing onto your exhaust from underneath. That is, if it is oil.
