Hey I'm postin for my friend that doesn't have internet access. He just bought an 87 GXL or something like that a few days ago. His problem is, that a buncha white smoke comes out alot. Anyone know what this is?

BTW....I did use the search button but all the hits I got were for TII's

 

is it thick white smoke that smells like antifreeze? There's only 1 way that coolant gets into the combustion chamber. A broken coolant seal.

 

Broken coolant seal? How do you fix that? Sorry....I'm used to lookin at engines with pistons........

 

Hed have to pull the engine out and rebuild it..
