Slow Trottle Response
Slow Trottle Response
i finally got my car running but when i give it gas it only goes up to about 2500 and its real slow to get up there. like if i gas it it takes like 3 seconds to go up
whats up with it?
whats up with it?
Could serveral reasons, dirty air filter, tps, cloged exhuast.
As fire dieing after you let of.. maybe fuel stravation?
How does it idle.. how is compression.. sounds like maybe blown seal which is give pretty much no power. and would not like to idle.

everything is pretty clean on my car, i just rebuilt so my throttle body, intake, and intake mani are cleaned up pretty nicely. i havent done a compression check lately, because my car idles perfect with no hot start problems and i have a pretty decent power band. My car needs to be tuned, it is running pretty darn rich and im running on almost stock exhaust with two cats, exhaust could possibly be getting a little tight, but like i said my power band is decent for an untuned motor running pig rich. i just cleaned my spark plugs, but i notice while free revving my car doesnt rev very crisply. ill hit it for a sec and it will go to about 2.5k or 3k. haltech reads my tps as being perfect when i hit the gas and goes back to 0.
i dunno about motos exact details, sorry this isnt my thread, but i read and it sounded kinda similar to my car.

That would be an indication of a vacuum leak/TPS/poor grounds/etc. As for the other guy, well, an untuned haltech isn't going to be the 'smoothest' of things, hit a wideband and see just what your current configuration looks like.
