Question Slight oil leak....

I had my oil leak checked out today. The guy said it was the oil pressure(in-dash gauge....not the idiot light)sender was leaking. I had to order the part from Mazda for about $50. Anyone have instructions on doing this? I'm guessing that I'm going to have to change the oil prematurely. Might as well do the $1.29 tune-up at the same time....lol

The sending unit, just aft of the dipstick just requires a 14mm wrench applied to it to turn it in a anticlockwise direction until it comes off. You might lose a teaspoon of oil at worst. You might consider doing it yourself.

oil leak

It might not be the sending unit, It might be the oil filter mount O ring, it`s a little harder to get at. I changed mine when I did my clutch and it was easy to get at!!!!!!!
