My first goal is to upgrade the exahust (APEXi N1) because of the Exhaust Leak I have on both stock mufflers.

If you are stuck on buying the N1, I'd suggest going single. A tip that big should NOT come in a pair, imho. It looks like overkill to me. Me personally, I have a random 3" tip that looks similar to an N1, just not as big or shiny. I love my single.
If these guys here change your mind about which exhaust to get, just get the RB.

^ I agree tips that big look weird with duals. I have a racing beat dual on my car and love the sound, I am considering going single in the future just to try something else.

if you're in highschool the fart cannons might get you props, but they attract cops. RB dual is the best setup you can get. horse power plus noise control. now they are no where near as quiet as stock exhaust, but if you are only running the stock engine and or turbo, then there is no reason to go with some crap single or dual 3" catback.

I got a racingbeat true dual setup on mines.....and DAMN those suckers are heavy. The entire system weights atleast 50-60 pounds LOL.
but man do they sound ******* sweet.

Of course the video quality sucks, plus its from a phone camera. I have to get a better recording.

This one is still a true dual, but with custom dual y-pipe and dual dynomax ultra flow mufflers.

Rotors still spinning

While I've seen people claim otherwise, the difference in weight between a single and dual muffler isn't enough to be noticable by anyone in terms of acceleration. It is so little relatively speaking that it just doesn't matter. In terms of flow, there isn't a single person that can back up their statement when they say a single flows better. Keep in mind that twice the muffler area is not only twice the muffling ability but also twice the flow. There is no power difference either. At the end of the day, it's going to come down to looks, price, and noise. Power and acceleration from weight savings aren't viable factors in it at all.

for performance wise, I'd go with a single muffler exhaust. I've had the racing beat catback for about 6 months, and when i swapped it out for a custom cat-back (aluminized tubing with resonator and muffler), it was so much lighter. If you're just going with a cat-back, I'm not quite sure if you'd feel power differences between cat-backs. Stainless steel weighs much more than aluminized tubing... that's for sure.
If you're looking for sound or looks, I'd go with RB headers, y-pipe and mufflers. I just used to be a whole "Everything Racing Beat" fan, until i ran out of money
(and if you want a RB y-pipe shoot me a PM )

In terms of how much weight, it'll really depend on the systems, as I'm sure there's many duals that are a good bit lighter than the heavy Racing Beat system.

unless you are going to be pulling out your interior as well, I would recommend the RB exhaust.
If you enjoy the comfort of sound insulation and door panels, the you will probably prefer the RB duals.
But if you are really trying to cut weight everywhere, single is the only way to go.
