S4 Alternator

Just in case anyone wanted to know, if you turn your stock alternator in for a factory remanufactured, keep the pulley. I just got my new pulley and it's at least a third smaller than the one I got with the alternator. I'll post comparison pics tomorrow if anyone is interested.

Yes, quite sure. Seeing as it has the correct plug on the back, as well as the proper part number on it for the reman. P/N N320-18-300R-00.

smaller pulley will just spin the alt faster, producing more juice earlier.

I had been wondering since I put it in why I was getting such low power at night when I am drawing a larger load. Turns out the pulley was the problem. Thirteen volts at ~3000 Rpms is not where I want to be. Just thought I would share a possible solution.

Also something that could have saved me 12 bucks had I known/ actually paid attention.
