2 1/2" probably. Remember to buy ear plugs.

Run the racing beat street header with it and than you can just have an exhaust shop fab up your piping back to the muffler.

I run the True Dual Racing Beat header and SS exhaust all the way back. Sounds throaty, but mellows at higher RPM's. I am sure the RB street header with the proper components will offer you a nice sound. Just make sure to run a presilencer in there to help tone it down a bit (thats what the presilencer does right?) and I am sure you will not be too loud.

alright thanks alot, so just buy a RB header and muffler then, 2 1/2 inch piping? yea the presilencer does that, i just want to be able to throw flames and get more power, i already spit a little fire now, i have pacesetter headers, gutted cat and 2 1/2 inch piping to the stock mufflers, which are rotted out lol. soon im doing ignition and the fuel system and haltech the bitch before i go ported.

hmmm... this is NA? I would say that the Haltech is a little extreme on an NA especially if your just going with a street port. Also make sure that your muffler is a good stainless steel one or you will burn it up quick like with the exhaust temps you will be running. I run a stage 2 street port with a true dual and am going to run an Rtek next summer for the tuning ability. Unless you plan on converting to a turbo with big injectors and a HUGE port the Haltech is a little overkill for what your doing. Just my opinion though, I just can't see dropping $1000 on an stand alone for a simple NA port job unless its going to be a bridge port with much larger injectors.

Like I said I am going to run an Rtek, depending on version that you run you can alter a whole bunch of stuff and all you need is a Palm OS. If you get the stage 2 version of it that is. Check out the section for rtek and the different engine management forums. That is where you will find some good info on what you want to use based on the parameters you have set for yourself.

No problem. I at one time thought like you did until I did a crap load of reading and began to understand if I want crazy power I should be thinking turbo only. If I want good power and pull but stay stock NA than I need to stay within the basic parameters of the NA.
