Single or Dual exhaust on N/A?

I wanted to know what your opinions were about putting single exhaust on N/A rex's. I know there are cutouts for 2, but, the way I see it, there's really no point in having two from a performance standpoint. Although I do like the look of two mufflers, I just wanted your opinions.

i agree. i just want something quiet, since the rust filters are loud as it is.

on another note, is around 1000 normal for a full system headers to catback?

I think if you want a dual exhaust setup, go true duels. Otherwise, IMHO, I wouldn't go with the Y pipe setup and rather go single. Unless you want to be quiet. Single is rather loud.

For my TII that I will be getting, I will be running single exhaust. I have a spare bumper so I'm cutting the skin and pasting it onto my existing bumper. Now it looks factory.

Exclamation

Look guys I don't care what you say. the duals are good that is it. The duals don't SUCK, they aren't as lound, as APEXi, and they aren't cheap quality either.

I really like my exhaust and I have heard some other mufflers on 7's and they don't sound good to me.

purefunrx7- I prefer two mufflers thats it. The FC came with two so having one will make it look like it has been modded and looks unballanced to me. No one to this day has showed me a dynograph that shows a collected two muffler exhaust that does better on the duals HP. MS7 never took up my challenge so I am guessing he doen't want to make cash if it is so cheap to make a better exhaust.

I don't get payed for what I say I just speak the truth. If anyone wants to disprove me go right ahead. HP costs money.

DUALs- simple to put in, good quality, great sound, balanced look, great price if you compare to mixing and matching other products.

Get the right muffler (like Borla, from what I'm told) and a single can be kept quiet.

I'm planning on a single this summer. Less weight and less to mess with if I want to pull the exhaust.
