simple and stupid question

iam having trouble getting my stock shift **** off

could someone please tell me the technique or method on how to remove it

i tried it and it still won't move an inch

does it very from car to car

Dood, its really hard sometimes. You may want to try to get the boot down and get a wrench on the lower part. It really shouldnt be that hard to remove, I wonder if someone messed something up on that car.

I had to use a pipe wrench to get mine off, it was on there real solid. make sure you are turning it the right way too. But yeah, use a wrench or you'll just hurt your hands.

I dunno about you guys but I never had any problems with any FC's shift ****. Now separating the upper shifter shaft from the lower part can be a PITA.

ok i guess i'll try and just get a good grip and yank as hard as i can with the wrench

if iam in the driver's seat i turn the **** to the left right???

Someone probably super-glued the thing on there. try using a heat gun or something. good luck
