silicone hoses

I just got my kit from hosetechniques.com. Its sweet. I will be installing it and a new vdo boost gauge and LED display, air/fuel ratio gauge (hooks up to O2 sensor) Into an autometer A-pillar daul pod holder.


any advice

87 turbo 2
racing beat fuel turbo exhaust
fcd
HKS dropped in to stock airbox
~will be rewiring my ?non-stock? fuel pump
think I will port the wastegate as well

moter blew after I got it and I am replacing it the next few days.

any advice

under your hood there should be a sticker panel. it is an exploded pae of the vaccum lines. good luck

i did that on mine... although the engine was out when i was doing the hoses (still out... no time to put it back in the car)

advice... do one hose at a time and clean up the engine... it's dirty! (at least mine was)

It's cheaper then having to replace the solenoid whose nipple broke because the hose was too stiff.

Everyone likes aesthetics. Plus, your old cracked hoses are only going to lead to problems in the future, and, more than likely, you'll break a few hoses on the R&R. Go for the change.

BTW, do you need a write-up on the R&R while I'm still kicking around?

I don't think I need to tell you that you need more fuel, and to lay off boost and WOT during break-in...

yeah that write u would be cool. the garage stripped off all the parts and just stared for an hour at the mess like "...uh?"
