sigh i hate to have another broken car
well on the way home, my fc stalled. i didnt stall it, it was a a red light. well it stalled and i try to restart it. it cranks and cranks, but no fire. so i checked eveything out untill it got dark. my leading coil is at 0.5 ohm and my trailing coil is at 0.8 ohm. there was no one else there so i can do the spark test. and theres no one at my house and no garage so i have no time to work. so wat could it be? the car is home now along with me, but i still cant find the prob. the car has 123XXX miles and not driven hard at all. my gf drives it most of the time. but any input is highly appreaciated.

You might want to see if you have fuel?
You can test for spark alone with a cheap spark tester.
sorry cant be of anymore help.
my car is sitting in my yard for almost 2 months now, but i have a blown apart clutch >

ok as i think about it theres only a couople of probibilities. which i will check tomarrow, if the coils are fine then theres something wrong with the electronics that trigger the coils to set off.
the coils are compleatly messed up and i need new ones.
fuel pump is messed up and i need new one.
or it could just be all of em.
i know the sparkplugs and wires are faily new i just put them in about 2 and a half months ago. please people help me

i though it floods when its cold and is use only for a couple of minutes. not when its ran for a while. if i were to check the fuses which one would i actually be looking for? when i try to start it after it happened, it just cranks and cranks. like how it normally would, just no fire. ill search for the defloodation process
i tried taking out the fuse for the fuel pump so no more gas will go in, crank it for a couple of seconds, replace fuse, and it still wont start. at first i thought it was a hot start problem cause i did stall out when the car and the weather was pretty hott. but when i first got the car i never ever over heated. please someone help me. i also tried starting it with the accelarator all the way down. again without and with the fuse. still wont work. ill appreciate all the input.
Try and de-flood it by taking the trailing plugs out and cranking it for a while, and put some oil in there while your at it.
I think the deflood for that is:
Take trailing out, pull EGI fuse, put a little oil down in the plug holes (i used a little ATF) and with the gas pedal down, crank it for a while. Till you don't see fuel shooting out from under your hood. Then put the plugs back in, and the fuse. Then don't press the gas pedal and crank it.
My was insanely flooded and the normal pulling EGI and holding gas pedal method didn't work. So I had to pull the plugs.
Also, if it is the fuel pump, I think, or so I have heard, if you keep cranking it, and the injectors happen to get air, and shoot air, you can damage the injectors. Like if you run out of gas in the tank, and then crank it. I would check fuel pump first, maybe pull a line, and then jumper the two wires and turn the car to the "ON" position, and let the line shoot into a container. Just to see if the pump is getting fuel out.
Then somehow check spark. Call a friend or something. Good luck dood.
