Question s4 and s5 diffs

so im wondering if i can swap diffs between s4's and s5's because my blown 88 had lsd while my 89 does not, so is it a direct swap in swap out type or what

should fit as long as it's NA/Miata to NA/Miata or TII/FD to TII/FD

Should be a direct bolt up. I swapped a S4 GXL LSD into my old S5 GTU with no problems. Just had a hell of time getting bolted up. It was my first time taking out the LSD at the time. Since you're going to have everything out already, I would recommend installing a competition front diff mount. No sense doing the work twice.
