88 vert stereo

 

last pics of my 88 very. swapped the 88 engine 4 a 90 coupe...no $$ at the time to go turbo.. i was only 17. but it looked great. black was a bitch to keep clean though. it was my first car. no real mods other than a hollowed out cats, cat back system from hks. it sounded beautiful...so deep toned. not like my dual exaust now. jesus crist, my exaust on the red vert can be heard from a mile away.

Yes and when people with TII's that have FMIC's, they should switch to an aluminum N/A hood. NOT.

i would. a non-functional off-centered hood scoops just looks goofy. plus an n/a hood makes for a better sleeper.

I hope you fixed this wiring and protected it running through those nice sharp holes in the seat cross member before you put the carpet and padding back in. At the very least I hope there is a nice fuse under the hood art the battery for that one power wire.

as well as generally you want to avoid running anywire under where someones feet will go.

i think the turbo hood matches the re front perfectly. who cares if there is no turbo, the car can **** on any n/a around, ive done it already. the hood is for looks. perhaps i will drop a turbo, or a supercharger in one day, but im looking at some of the cars that are owned in here, and please...all rx7 are respected, god's little creatures, but some are so bone stock, and worn paint, with so few mods listed. the convertible and turbo are the most desired modles of the rx7. just cause there's no turbo, doesnt mean its an rx7. i posted to see what u all think.. so the rims will go, and the pants, well thats my fault, but this car is maxed out, and deserves a little respect.

the biggest thing i see here is that most people own their rx-7s because they ******* love their rx-7s and you seem to own yours to get appreciation and respect from other people. thats why you show it off, ask for opinions, and adjust accordingly to make everyone like you and your car. i mean you bought the wheels because you liked them. everyone here pisses on tem because (and i agree) 3 spokes are fugly. so now you are going to change them. you liked them before so keep them.

don't go on about your car being the most desirable and respect it and ****. and there isn't anything wrong with bone stock. like i said people have their cars because THEY love them, not so their friends will love them. bone stock is how mazda made it and how a lot of people like it.

you posted your pics. got your feedback. now suck it up and take it. don't call jealousy on everyone who finds humour in the thread. i'm a little envious of the money you have dumped into your car. wish i had that cash to put into a garett turbo for my AE...

 

thats cool, thanks. but if 100 out of 99 people say the rims are ****, maybe its true, and the heavy, homie cromie comment has kind a stuck, so ill at least look into changing them for some lighter, maybe larger allinimum ones.

and by the way, i looked into the turbo drive train, and its lookin good, already found a turbo rear, and there are several too choose from if anyone's interested. i might as well buy a whole turbo car and steal its drivetrain....

ps..ill never wear those pants again, thanks , all, it was a 75$ pair...guewss the $$ coulda have gone into something to make it faster

3. Jealousy? I own anS5 TII, parked for the winter, and engine emptied as of this weekend to prep for the aluminum dual intermediate bearing'd 20B going in. Why would I be jealous of a fugly riced out 'vert?
