should i get a tune up?

i just purchased a 91 rx-7 and am curious to see if i need a tune up, it has 97,000 miles on it and the oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. Should i get one to be on the safe side? How often are you suppose to get one on a rotary engine?

well it depends when it was last done....

I change plugs, wires, fuel filter, and coolant every year or so.

I'd do the tranny and diff fluid if it hasn't been done as well.

Just remember...

Rotaries are alot less tolerant to lack of maintenance than most other cars. If in doubt, change it.
