What should stock oil pressure be?

Just started my car up to let it run solid for a few hours to break the engine in.

What should my stock oil pressure guage read for now? Car is all stock with new motor.

Thanks guys!
Need a quick response!

what grade oil are you using?
with 20w50 you ought to see about 45 at idle and a little over 60 @ 2000+ rpm

Im at about 35psi at idle and hit about 70psi 2800RPM+ using Castrol 20-50w. Using 10-30 before left me about 10psi lower on the above mentioned situations.

you are merely guessing if you are getting your readings off the stock guage, only way you can truely tell your oil pressure is with an aftermarket guage

Ya, not trying to be totally acurate, but the stock guage gives me some idea for now.

Replace the stock sending unit or get an aftermarket gauge.

After 15 years of oil, heat, and other things, the stock gauge tends to be pretty innacurate unless replaced.
