at 16 yrs old would you seriously sell a good working car to get a heap that could potentially eat up all your time and money leaving you with no alternate forms of transportation?

if you have no idea how much the s5 13bt swap into an 86 would cost then i would imagine you also have no idea what it would entail. you need to spend more time researching before you'd be close to ready to do what you want to.

if you are serious about the FC and you consider yourself semi-confident in mechanics, or know some one who is, then the FC is the way to go. also rx7s tend to be money pits. youll find yourself living paycheck to paycheck if you use one as a daily driver. an AE86 is more reliable but also VERY slow. sure, they have a following, but those cars just dont have near the potential of a rotary.

Cheap = corrola

$$$$$= Rx7

Your better of getting a turbo car if you want a turbo, putting a turbo on an na is a hard and time-eating conversion. You can buy Nice tii's for around $5k... why not just buy one fo them.

I've got an 86 N/A and am putting a 90 T2 into it using a Jspec front clip that I got for $2000. That front clip will include not only the engine and it's accessories, but also the tranny, d-shaft, rear lsd and driveaxles, plus the guy is throwing in 2 black T2 seats with the clip. It's gonna be time consuming to convert, but I think it will be worth it. My step-dad was the original owner of the car, which is another reason I want to convert rather than buy another T2.

If the integra is your only car then I'd hold off on buying that FC or find yourself a nice t2. When I got my t2 I had a 2000 protege as a daily driver, but that got totalled not too long ago. Like DrifterFD3S said, rx7's do suck up money if you use it as a daily driver. If you want rwd, ever consider a 240?

Yeah, I second the 240. The stock KA engine is rather torquey. Good for city driving. It also gets better mileage than an FC and costs less to maintain.
